Thread regarding F5 Networks Inc. layoffs

Anybody remember the contents of the 4 squares that was presented by the Profit after he first started....

This strategy as I recall was going to propel F5 into the mega billons.

Far as I can see it the results were the involuntary terminations (multiple RIFs) of over 2000 souls.

I don't remember the details.

@1e3
It appears that the F5 PR team or employees from India have joined this discussion. They seem to be orchestrating an effort to undermine the credibility of those expressing legitimate concerns. If they believe they can silence dissenting voices with these tactics, they are mistaken. Just because they are not experiencing the same challenges that we are facing here in the US does not mean they will never encounter similar issues. If you still have your job, please remember to be grateful and humble for not being part of the RIF churn. Have empathy for those who have lost their jobs so that you could have yours, whether that means replacing them or simply being needed by F5 for now.

Unionize and organize against racist, third-world managers and their unethical practices.

Post from TheLayoff.com

Many of those laid off through out the past two years had excellent reviews and did not receive negative remarks, myself included. It is a petty comment to say that those laid off had bad reviews and to su-k it up. If you are reading this and that is your rationale, I feel sorry for you. Check the open job postings at F5 and see where the open positions are focused. We were largely laid off due to cost and that our jobs could be replaced by offshore or AI. We believed and it cost us our jobs. It maybe business, but that doesn't make it right or prudent and time will tell whether the offshore shift keeps F5 an important player in the future.

“ stock up 59% over the last year, 11% total revenue growth, including 20% product revenue growth. Software revenue grew 22% and systems revenue grew 18% with strength from all geographies.”

There is no budget for this, there is no budget for that. Bonus cut, pay freeze, RTO, exodus to India. Surely, ridiculously easy way to show employees the middle finger.

“Welcome to the conversation Francois”

You got me. It’s me. Yep, this is how CEOs stay connected to their employees and determine what to do next - we all read thelayoff.com.

You’re right, we need to build products and services that customers want to buy. checks notes Hmm, stock up 59% over the last year, 11% total revenue growth, including 20% product revenue growth. Software revenue grew 22% and systems revenue grew 18% with strength from all geographies. Our revenue outperformance also drove Q1 non-GAAP EPS of $3.84, a beat of $0.43 above the top end of our guidance range. (I can use copy and paste too.)

You’re still right, we should do better. More mental health services are needed.

At least you’re efficient and use copy and paste. Still not healthy. Are you OK? FFIV is doing fine, but you - seek help. You posting here will change absolutely nothing. But maybe I can convince you to take some mental health care. So I’ll keep posting.

Welcome to the conversation Francois or F5 PR team. We see that you all are concocting unhinged dialogue, to detract from the credibility of employees who are voicing legitimate concerns. It's the oldest trick in the book. Wouldn't it be a better use of your time to build products and services that customers want to buy?

Any of that popcorn left? Boy, do you not know a thing about business.

Damn… that stock price bump after hours and quarterly financials seems to indicate F5 is not the “sh!t” some make it out to be. More layoffs? Maybe. But the boss is increasing shareholder value and that’s all that matters to shareholders… your feelings don’t matter. So talk more sm-ck if it makes you feel better. But the shareholders aren’t listening to you apparently. They are buying shares and raising the price they are willing to pay.

Awh someone is taking comments on here for F5 very very personally. How cute. Must be a laid off employee that couldn’t meet minimal goals.

I can only assume that you’re referring to the 4 quadrants from the worthless book he constantly touted, “Zone to win”. Yet another flash in the pan from our Obsidian Overlord
