I'd really like to stop feeling depressed about DXC, and complaining about it's policies and processes. I wonder what the chances of that are in our lifetime. I wanted to do a good job, but I'm now surrounded by incompetence, people who clearly have no clue what they are doing, but won't listen to me because it would undermine the justification they get paid more.
I'm going to stop giving a sh-t about stuff. And won't be attending meetings outside of core hours. Despite the psychological games played by some managers - it seemingly makes no odd what you do or don't anyway. Oh we missed the deadline, let's have a meeting to replan! There's a long way to go before I fall anywhere near the bottom quartile of skill, effort and achievement on our team.
I will do what's required by contract. Nothing more, nothing less.
I'm not going to be working all the hours god sends to achieve a deadline just because someone thinks that's a nice date to deliver something. Hoping for a bonus or a rise, only to find I got the same as people who did nothing.
I ain't doing sh-t till I get the promotion I was promised years ago
i am going to stop doing ANYTHING regarding work for DXC on Monday and Friday every week to recover the 40% lost pay with 0 pay rises since 2017
Start looking out for myself and stop working for this company.
I am going to find another job as quick as possible
