Was recently approached by recruiter to interview for Honeywell Kanata Ontario location? Does anyone have any feedback. Glassdoor and indeed have reviews but not sure how much you can trust these reviews.

Paid recruiters are constantly trying to fill the vacancies that continuously crop up in this nasty sweatshop. Avoid this meat grinder if you value your dignity.
I investigated the Underground Economy of Glassdoor Reviews

The technology job market in Ottawa has really taken a dump in recent years. This goes back to the failure of Nortel and JDS, and the decline or disappearance of many others. A dump like Honeywell will only provide a short term solution, not any kind of satisfying career. The strain will take a heavy toll on any normal person.
Thanks everyone

25% Traffis Coming Soon
Why would a US customer want to pay an additional 25% on a $30,000 product when HW can get it made cheaper somewhere else.
Get really Canada!!
People are toxic & evil in all levels, from the top (Senior Management + HR) to the bottom (production floor).
Foreigners from different countries, group together like GANGS. They will turn on you the minute your back is turned. Never, trust these evil villians!!
Can't believe Canadians are letti ng this happen. :(
The hole is referred to as Sadcom now.
Don’t go!
Don't do it unless you have no other opportunities and need a job badly. It's a revolving door.
It's shyte and I would avoid them unless really desperate. Honeywell Kanata has one of the worst reputations in the Ottawa tech sector, with massive turnover. A lot of nasty management there, deadwood employees, and down-and-outs working there on contract. A lot of the positive Glassdoor reviews are fraudulent, which is very common in the competitive tech sector.
Unless Honeywell is paying you 20%+ more than anyone else, don’t waste your time. This place is a h3ll-hole.
Like most things Honeywell, it depends which group. Kanata is also a little unique. It has several Honeywell businesses located in the same building. There's 2x aerospace, safety systems, and I think one more. There is engineering (space and commercial) and manufacturing for (commercial) aerospace. Not sure what else.
do NOT trust glassdoor reviews. honeywell pays a "reputation management firm" to deal with those sites (and this one). bad reviews are systematically purged and many reviews are from compensated individuals. interns and new hires are pressured to leave reviews.
