Get Ready for Zayo

Zayo Group is coming soon. Whatever is happening over the next few months is simply moving the deck chairs on the Titanic.

You guys would be lucky if it’s Zayo. The reality is WS/uniti will end up with Chinese ownership. If you think Zayo would treat u like cr-p, just wait til you are 51% owned by a chicomm conglomerate behind the scenes. If I were a WS customer, I’d run from this dumpster fire. Sadly this was once a Fortune 500 company right up until we bought Paetec.

Zayo is it's own s&&t show too. They are constantly RIF'ing and re-org'ing.
Zayo also dropped out of bidding for Crown Castle fiber.

Lumen RIF'd 1,000+ last week and have sold off their networks outside N.America. Now they are looking to sell their remaining ILEC/consumer networks (old US West & Florida).

I think the Uniti-Windstream future is more an opportunity of growing larger thru mergers with other regional sized networks, such as Everstream, FirstLight, FiberLight, Consolidated, Shentel, etc..
or acquiring smaller networks to fill in gaps in the Uniti-Windstream network, such as then many new FTTH networks being built.

Zayi definitely makes sense. They are a fiber company. Copper orders will be extinct & slowly faze away existing copper customers. Cost too much to maintain.

Honestly, could it be any worse than the greed upper management has exhibited since at least Gardner?
