Agree, the method used is very sick. Perhaps even sicker is them injecting this uneasiness into the phishing test emails. It’s just a sick game to them. One test email mentioned a compensation survey, knowing this bank pays far less than our competitors, and yesterday’s fake phish seemed to hint at us being named in a secret layoff type conversation. Sick

The craziest thing is the people are just gone. No notifications of any kind. They act like we lost no one, then poof if you ask around no one knows where and why these people are gone. No one says anything that people were let go. No one. We are all on the same team and can’t even say goodbye because everything is so hush. This is a sick process.

OP was unfortunately right. I'm the biggest skeptic, because I think people post to stir sometimes. However, not a single post has been wrong yet.

Yes, they are happening somewhat quietly. Not sure how widespread yet

I noticed quite a large number of contractors that were here last week are no longer in the directory this week.

There are more and more retail locations that will close, that’s a fact. Unproductive locations will close and consolidate, so those will be laid off … accurate. Business lines will further reduce fat and more people in outlying areas will be forced into HUB locations. All of that is true.

Now, can I share the list of those locations? No, I cannot. But be prepared, and if you’re that unhappy, get your affairs in order and start looking elsewhere. More and more companies are requiring staff to be on site so either ride the wave or be prepared to go back to the way it was Which is getting in your car and going to the office.

This post is about as useful as someone posting "there will be layoffs at some point in the future at the bank". Either post something useful or just STFU.
