Last day 1/31/2025, no severance & get to keep benefits until end of February. Love how they're doing it on a Tuesday totally unprepared for the call early in the morning. Nice change up Windstream.
We’re Care departments laid off??
Starting on a Tuesday! Sounds like it might be a long week! If you close the merger in March this might be the last big one before then…at least for the lower levels…upper management seems to be the last to go right before the new takes over.
The FEDs are currently worried about TIK TOK - if it became more public about the FCC foreign ownership waivers associated to Windstream / UNIT then you might gain some traction. There is not better time than the present back

Anyone here praying your the one let go. What is the benefit of that it's not like you are getting some big severance package, just pack up your sh-t and move on. You sound d-mb !
It started this morning.
They want as many people to quit as possible first so the company is not on the line for unemployment benefits or possible wrongful termination lawsuits so it is unbearable and it's going to get worse. Also, this happens with most mergers. The people in charge of thinning the herd take psychology classes to get in your head as well.
The GA gals took over a long time ago. They will just move on to another promotion in inbound or outbound sales and keep making their 6 figure salaries for being the worst leaders a company has ever had. They destroyed what use to be Retail. WS is the only company that promotes people for failing
