God knows when it will end. Please post the updates, there are so many rumors and a lot of confusion.

Partially correct but not quite. The core level businesses remain intact. But high level leaders instead of being geographic, will be asset type. Global Shale VP will look after DBU, MCBU and Argentina but local management won't change. Global VP Deepwater for GOM, NMA, SASBU, Brazil, ASBU. Global VP Onshore for all the rest (TCO, Bangladesh, Venezuela, SVJ). It will make no difference to any of you hapless worker bees.
From what I am hearing, these are the current pillars that are going to be demolished:
- most (but not all) of DEI nonsense positions, especially in HR
- the whole WeLead shenanigans (bye bye Align and Inspire, thanks Lord)
- Business Units (Enter asset class divisions)
- WFH, we are gonna be back to the office by end of 2026
Good luck everybody.
Wish someone would give me a sweet roll
These upheavals are best viewed as opportunities. You have had plenty of warning to position yourself to benefit from the changes and get a sweet roll in the new org. Be proactive about pushing out those you disslike.

The highest level of management approved all of this over-hiring and should all be eliminated in corporate wide layoffs. However, they will all be receiving large bonuses because they are terminating all these people that they approved hiring but now have decided they are expendable.
If you don't know what already? Do some people actually know what directions things are doing and the those who will be forced to fight for a position haven't been provided any information yet?
Two huge businesses. Upstream split into the haves (good portfolios) versus have nots. Expect at least another two or three big external hires. Staff cuts of 30% not including roles outsourced to India. If you don’t know already then you’re not part of the inner circle. Best thing to happen to chevron for years. Many whining privileged “experts” will have to go take their expertise elsewhere
S&T is combining the SATs and moving to an "agile analytics" model with offshored commercial and business analysts. 20% headcount reduction in trading, 30 across remainder of org post merger with downstream. Buckle up!
More info pls. What’s this bs about tomorrow? I’ve only heard town hall next month?
No more BUs. Top leaders already know what they got and they know who’s leaving. Massive cuts, plus outsourcing to India.
