I'm 100% with post before this one. Frank did not streamline and optimize, he slashed and burned until he heard the infrastructure creaking, moaning, and starting to snap. He's playing from the oldest VC playbooks around. It's boringly predictable, while being horrific to watch how it destroys so many lives.
In the post the previous references, the person says govt jobs shouldn't be a life of luxury. Does that mean you believe they shouldn't be able to support themselves on their income? The only people I see getting luxurious fancy cars and multiple houses aren't the low level beurocrats. It's the scheming congress people, senators, heads of departments, the prez, scotus, etc. Those low level people are living a middle class life as they should be for the job they do.
