Some of us are still here mostly because we're waiting for severance. Letting us volunteer would be a smart move.

They’re going to start letting staff go by using performance-related issues as the reason. The management seems completely out of their depth and can’t make a decision without running it by the big boss first. The boss likely gets the question through a game of broken telephone, and the response trickles down in the same unclear way. That’s why staff end up getting a completely different answer than what was originally asked. No wonder things aren’t moving forward here in Waterloo
Yeah. 10 weeks for 30 years of service is shabby at best.
I’d take a decent buyout offer, but if the severance packages of the last few years are any indication, I don’t think we can count on OT to make voluntary separation worth anyone’s while.
Smart is not how i would describe anyone on the ELT or Mark "Jaba the Hut" B. MF 2.0. Last one to leave, turn out the lights in Waterloo.
