Executive Work from home destroying Belk’s?

How many of you all think having all the executives working from home is hurting the company? I think working from home makes them even more disconnected from what is happening in the stores

How can you run a department store sitting at home in your pajamas 😂

Belk executives have been out of touch and disconnected from the real world of actually running a department store day to day. It shows in the less than smart decisions they make on a number of things - like the way they waste money and time on having us change signs on sale set days from 50% coupon to 50% door buster and vice versa. Where is the logic in that?

I think the condition of most stores speaks for itself, so does the number of customer complaints.

………it’s not Covid anymore. Get back in the office or store 5 days a week. Work for
Home isn’t working

There’s nothing more cringeworthy than seeing an executive (in any company) doing a zoom call in athletic wear from their kitchen table…it’s not only unprofessional it shows a type of laziness that old school (over 60) people like me just can’t and won’t accept.

Remote work is tied to a decrease in productivity, and a blurred line in work life balance. Work from home also disconnects collaboration and workers from their peers.

How does being in an office versus working from home affect how connected they are to store? Also they are in office at least one week per month. Curious if you have a legitimate reason of why you think remote work is destroying the company?
