Managers, on the dashboard that is used to track this metric is it calculated based on 11 days required in office per month, 3 days required in office a week, or some other way? Based on badge swipe data only I believe?

I know my direct manager isn't a fan of the RTO, so I think he may be more flexible than others. And I just had my review at the end of the year, the RTO compliance wasn't even mentioned by my manager.
"No one is serious about RTO mandates in Minnesota locations."
I think that really depends on your team/manager. I know some teams are fine so long as you're making an effort, while others are massive sticklers for 100% a month - even with time off/vacation/sick time/etc. that doesn't get factored into that 100% metric.
Personally, I know someone who was given a poor performance review and thus no bonus because they didn't come in at all. It's BS.

I am guessing that there are other reports that the managers do not see. They could be tracking how long we are actually online in the office.
So sad! A scorecard for badge swipes? We deserve better.
It does include weekends.
Anyone know if it includes Saturday or Sundays as well? We have a weekend release coming up and several of us will be in the office.
The percentage in the Workday dashboard is ‘X’ divided by 11, where x = how many different calendar days your badge was swiped during a month. So if you only swiped 10 different days during the month your score would be 90.9% for that month. The dashboard isn’t smart enough to track single weeks, so you could swipe for 11 days straight and be out the rest of the month and the dashboard would show you met the goal.
"Can anyone provide details on what information the tracking dashboard shows?"
It shows a monthly historical bar graph of badge swipe percentages by employee using the formula: # of swipes / 11). For example, 11+ swipes = 100%, 10 swipes = 91%, 9 swipes = 82%, etc. There are no other details. It's very rudimentary.

Yes. The tracking dashboard highlights how the leadership at US bank is run by uninspiring incompetent mo--ns.
Can anyone provide details on what information the tracking dashboard shows? Is it just a number showing monthly badge swipes? Does it show the time of day badge swipes or any other details? What info does the dashboard show?
It depend on group or dept. I'm in operations and basedon my perf review its looked at on average monthly basis, not week by week.
They still do not factor in vacation and sick time into the calculation. The response from HR is it's up to manager discretion, which gives all of us going in some leeway. Of course then you have managers who are remote with employees who have been "RTO'd". That does throw quite a bit of hypocrisy into the mix.
Look ... RTO is nothing but soft layoffs ... employee quits or gets fired due to non-compliance ... so just follow the 3 days per week policy. Employees trying to game the system may result in mgmt favor as they can always point to you not going 3 days per week the entire year ...
You have to go three days a week. Going five days in one week and two days in the next is considered a 50% RTO goal, even though you were in the office for five days the previous week. So, don't think about the monthly average. Follow three days a week if you don't want to get into trouble.
I would hesitate to recommend the 5 days a week until June strategy as the dashboard shows monthly averages so it would be very clear you stopped going in half way through the year :D
As of right now on the manager dashboard, it is 11 badge swipes a month. Nothing else factors in. They look at the average of all the months at the end of the year.
The reviews for RTO are only badge swipe averages for 3 out of 5 days a week. For example,
52 weeks X 5 weekdays= 260.
260-13 holidays=247.
247-25(vacation/PTO/sick days) =222.
3/5 of 222 is 133.2 (134 days rounded)
so you need to swipe in at least 134 days out of the year to meet the requirement. so the magic number is 134 in office for the year. You could hit that number but June doing 5 days a week in office and WFH the rest of the year.
Good question, with holiday week coming up I’m wondering if we are supposed to be in 3 days that week or if 2 will suffice. Also, how do things like PTO or sick time factor in? Of course there are no clear guidelines anywhere to follow.
