Thread regarding NTT Data layoffs

Sales layoffs coming?

I’ve heard from leadership of two different business units that FY2024 is not looking good and major changes are in store, likely affecting the workforce.

Not hard info, but someone speculated to me that an announcement may come as early as next week to those affected

The current CFO doesn't want any US Based Team. The CFO cut the US Accounting team in half on Tuesday March 25, 2025. The CFO doesn't think the US Accounting team adds any value to the global accounting team, but the US Accounting team is always bailing out the India and Malaysia team due to accounting errors and constant turn over on those teams.

As someone who was there from 2016 to this past December, it happens every year, in March and again in November. Letting tenured people go to bring in younger, less experienced people with a lower salary requirement. It is a semi-annual revolving door. How much focus on the client gets lost in the transition? Also sending a lot of work to those based in India where labor is cheap. I spent 2 weeks training 3 people there to take my job. I am sure my clients have felt a shift, was it worth it NTT?
