Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Anger towards ELT

Anyone have an idea what ELT or management is saying about the anger the rank and file have toward them? Guessing they don't care about how the employees productivity is in the toilet due to them. If anyone from management is reading this wake up and start valuing your employees at least a small amount or the company will fail in the end. Think of where Boeing and other companies that cut deep are now!

ELT value anger of shareholders > anger of rank and file

The ELT believes that they are saving the company. Layoffs, bad attitudes, work not being done or angry employees is just collateral damage. After this is finished, they will be congratulating themselves with raises, bonuses and stock options for making the tough decisions.
