One of my friends who I have known for years was let go. She has a A* yearly review, but told she was let go because of performance. They are looking for excuses for up coming merger. Beware!!

India is good for just maintenance and small changes in software. There are 15-20% of excellent engineers but you need to pay top salary to get them out of other companies.
Not many top engineers in Palo Alto India who can come up with new technology or architecture.
What does having a terrible product, have to do with someone getting fired? Stop gas lighting.
