For what its worth they've stopped the share buyback but your point is taken

Too late - but a (small) step forward. Something close to $6B has been wasted on this over the years so far - and with the current market cap at $3.6B it can hardly be deemed a huge success!!

That's why IBM is IBM and we are not

and why over the period these "transfers" have taken place IBM share price is up 39% and DXC is down 12% (despite the yet-more-money wasted on share buybacks)

agree with the previous post - one DXC security person hired by IBM, rest is IBM deadwood being jettisoned, and then bringing their (equally useless) mates across to the new pasture
