The workers have immense leverage against the company but years of corporate & political bullying has most fearful. Will the company perform every dirty trick in the book to bust up attempts to organize. Of course. What needs to be understood is that there is enough discontent with the company to launch a really good effort at organizing. We are entering a new area that will see many embracing unionization again. We cannot squander this opportunity. Strike while the iron is hot.

How often does our HR function implement something that turns to c rap almost immediately and if you can’t answer that you’re one of the lucky ones. Nothing like having a few cold ones with your colleagues to hear the insanity that is happening. Me to my friend how’s it going ? Friend great I got demoted in November from my manager position to a supervisor position where I have to clock in and out now. They tell me I’m suppose to be happy because my overtime rate will now be 1.5 not 1.0. Why did they change you from manager to supervisor I asked, said it was never explained only something about layers and controls and that it didn’t really matter because I’d be doing the exact same thing. So I asked if you’re doing the same thing why are they paying you more money? He said he wasn’t really sure only that the changes were designed to enhance the supervisor experience or at least that’s what the HR folks told him. Can’t wait for this Friday night and ask him if it’s getting any better.

Ok buddy must have a lot of experience at Gulfstream as he’s pretty confident that all is well and the workers are content, maybe he is just in the know. After 22 years of fun working here in 3 different departments it is very clear that discontent is brewing, whether buddy thinks so or not. Word is hitting the floor over how one group of workers hit the lottery and others nothing. Seems like they are trying to divide us. But buddy must know.
I wouldn't be surprised if the most recent comments on this thread are all M.B. responding to himself to throw people off. Worst dialogue I've seen on here so far
There is no point in taking offense to anything here. There is also no point to vaguely alluding to things that 'might' be coming. If you have information, share it. Spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt is just a waste of everyone's time.

If there ever was a time to get it together and organize your thoughts now is the time. When one group of us gets treated significantly better than another for some bs reasons made up by so called leadership you know it’s time. My manager gave me a preview of what’s coming.
