Lot of software engineers joined recently the company, I'm one myself. Given that I started on September and still on probation period, am I already a goner? or I still have some chances somehow?

They use skills, doesn’t matter if you were hired yesterday or 20 years ago. Most people get complacent after a while and don’t improve their skills so those are the ones that are at the most risk
