Well, been in this team for over 20+ years and every day still trying my best to get things done and delivered. At the same time, trying to excel my skill sets. Our team has over 30+ engineers and I can tell you if I need to keep this team running, I only need 3 to 5, the rest are not needed. However, when the cut happens, those 3 to 5 might be the first to go....
i always referred to them as coffee-cup holders. I knew three of them and said it to their faces. You have to have no self-respect to take those climber opportunities. No shame.
I was surprised to see many Useless TAs and chief of staff are grade 10&above. Doing nothing. Being glorified assistant to their bosses . Getting promoted for no reason and travelling in first class with their bosses around the world, spending money.
Fire them and their work gets dumped on you or me. Better them than me.
