Assuming that was not sarcasm. Intel has to publish those position and "conduct" a hiring campaign in order to justify ( to the department of labor) the immigrant petitions for its employees.
I assume this to be sarcasm. On Intel's website, they had 625 US jobs/1210 worldwide jobs listed. That doesn't mean they are going to fill them now. Indeed would not be my first stop for job hunting regardless, but I do find it odd that they only have job in India listed.
Yeah, this is a bit surreal. My team’s lost several seasoned folks over the 2 years and we have had a very hard time finding replacements. We’re a core function team, so short of a massive reorg, I don’t see how they lay off anyone in our team, we’re still down like 3 heads.
Looking back at the 2016 debacle, though, they don’t seem to pay much attention to anything other than raw numbers. Maybe I’ll get a permanent vacation?
I appreciate your sarcasm.
And intel has a tradition of paying for hiring by laying off.
Intel always grows low cost geo
Not really. We've been desperately trying to hire for a few positions and were told to "just collect resumes, don't interview anybody" as of a couple weeks ago.
Nope. Beware of job offers being pulled before you start. You are not an employee until your first day. Between quitting your old job and starting at Intel anything could happen.
I wouldn’t suggest anyone work at Intel anymore. Ya just can’t trust them.
I'll just leave this here.
