Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Do You Want Avaya to survive?

Look at the attacks / counter attacks, and general vitriol towards people, have to ask the question if rhe remaining staff at Avaya on this site actually want the company to resolve its issues?

It should also be clear by now that anyone wanting a pay off is going to be disappointed, so can't we try to work on getting Avaya through, or if it's too far gone in your mind, why haven't you left? I would be interested to know why people invest so much mental energy being angry on this site? I get your frustration and disappointment, but is it worth directing at people that clearly don't care.

Seems that if you have a problem with the way a certain set of people in the marketing team are operating raise it at an all hands. Have the courage of your convictions and let the CEO know what is going on that is upsetting you. It's clear that complaining here will be seen by no-one who will do anything.

FYI - read the site rules - you cannot post identifiable personal information here - it will get deleted. you cannot post a threat, post personal insults or bully others - it will get deleted.
when they delete your post your ip gets blocked as well. you can try to override it by using proxies, but a lot of them don’t work here.

btw, hundreds of forum boards here, thousands employees pouring scorn on firms they work in - avaya nor any of those companies don’t own this website or has influence over it. site mods are the ones deleting posts, so stop breaking the rules and your posts won’t get nuked.

this forum page is a tool - use it, don’t abuse it.

Sanctimoniously scold? There is no wonder the company is in trouble, between the described senior level mis management, and the self entitled know it alls here, it is best this poor beast be put down. No one should bother with another Chapter 11, time for a full bankruptcy and get the pain over, you have to really pity anybody actually trying to do their job at Avaya right now. Actually is there anyone doing their job there?

What a toxic and soul destroying experience the management and its staff are creating if you are all an example of what it has to offer.

This passive aggressive post is a complete and total F.A.I.L.
So out of touch. So a person who collects a paycheck and hopes it will just continue. Such employees do nothing for Avaya and is why Avaya got to this point.

Wait a second here, is this an admission of your bullying of people who have posted on here?

Meanwhile, the updated Avaya filings state they lacked controls and process. That process includes having a Code of Conduct that insulates employees from Retaliation.

You all who want to pass along veiled threats to anyone trying to do the right thing, you should really spend some time reading about corporate controls and the consequence of not operating within them.

Being from Ireland, I am most appreciative of these posts. This site has informed myself more than any official message from Avaya.
My pal and I were chatting over wine this evening how the only reason this week's Securities Exchange filing made sense to us non Americans is because of what has been shared on the layoff. Most relevant were the previous posts about the lack of an ethics process.
It may be the wine talking now, yet this post, oh we had a good craic about it. It proves what the others have been saying since the beginning. You really have a group of people who believe Avaya can succeed based on forcing the message. Well, we all know that didn't work. Happy Christmas all.

WOW. Belly laughs!
If this site doesn't rank to be noticed then why to you fight to delete all the posts you don't like.

Also, you are foolish if you don't believe the auditors have read these and these posts are what has finally helped them to stop covering up and finally address.
Bravo to the brave souls who speak up. Not enough of you out there.
To the small people who keep playing the game that Chirico celebrated you for...you look the fool you are, whether or not these posts get deleted.

you actually beleive it is a matter of WANT

It is a matter of integrity. I'd rather be impacted and work for another company with the spot on my Avaya resume to reflect honest, legal, regulatory integrity than clowns who play the hide the cheese to redirect attention.

Case in Point -- The same posts you denounce, are the very ones who could have saved Avaya back in March if the leaders actually listened. Go reread posts from March on. This could have been prevented. These posts are the only truths we have.
