DXC have just told everyone that they cannot hire new staff, even to replace people leaving. They stated they don't care if this breaks accounts and our clients leave us. Salvino is really ki----g this company.

They are actually going out of their way in Town Halls to say there is on freeze.
So it actually means there is a freeze, bit like the pay raises they said there would be annual merit increases and actually implemented pay cuts.
I guess the freeze is more money for Mikey and co.
For staff it doesn't matter if they recruit or not, who cares, who believes a word of what Mikey and co say its all lies.
Definitely a hiring freeze n my region. Smells like a merger or sale
But at EMEA Townhall, they said there was NOT a hiring freeze.
But then it's impossible to get approval to hire anyone in EMEA, only in off shore locations.
So usual leadership lies.
clearly "fake news" - while the CTO program execution is a reality, other than AWS, Microsoft etc we are and were fulfilling 100ds of positions in my region - and I am not talking about LCC / GIDCs
not the first time this has come into place - always backfires, but Mr Shouty doesn't care as he just needs the margins to look good for another quarter to clinch the sale to private equity - he's given up on revenue and doesn't care about longer term damage as won't be his problem to solve
