And did they ever end up getting to see the score?

Do you remember taking the Hogan and Raven assessments? We were told that it was going to be required for all new hires that are bonus eligible. However, it is no longer required. What has Allstate done with the scores for those who took the assessments? Does the new management, who did not take the assessments, have access to the results? And what are they doing with it?
2020 for my claims dept, we were forced to sign the arbitration agreement six months prior and if we did not sign it it was automatic termination. The test was simply an excuse to get rid of people without legal ramifications. No one received a score and that was so they could fire people who were making more money without backlash, NO ONE knew how they did and we all figured out pretty quickly that the “puzzle test” was a front.
Mandatory arbitration was set up so that you either signed it proactively or accepted it by default by continuing employment after x date. Rumor is the majority of the company signed by default method. Haven’t heard the IQ and personality tests were in any way related to whether you signed or not. That’s probably not true.
I have been told that the mandatory arb agreement is unenforceable as employees were made to sign it under duress.
At the time the mandatory Arbitration (no right to sue) agreement was put in place (requiring employee signatures) it was clearly made known if you refused to sign, your employment may be terminated.
In their own words, they "tweaked" the test. They stated that in a meeting that outlined the intent of the results. In addition, they we-ponized it against what they thought were undesirable employee traits. One thing's for sure, they got the groupings right, but they misclassified them as the less desirable employees. What a mistake. So many great people were pushed out and the ones who stayed ended up leaving on their own. D3 was instrumental in putting it all together. I don’t think till this day anyone ever realized the errors, and if they did, no one was held accountable for the mistake.
I found out from a reputable source that if you were one of the ones who refused to sign off on giving up your right to sue the company, you were automatically gone regardless of performance on the job or their test…
Do not believe a thing this company says.
The same test in IT. no scores
It was just away to let people go that they wanted to let go with no legal back lash!! And you will never get to know a score!!
2021 in departments other than claims
I don't think the puzzle or the repetitious questions in that personality test where a deciding factor in ANYTHING. Just a bunch of psychological mumbo jumbo to make the employees THINK they had some type of control regarding their fate i.e. " I didn't score well, so I'm gone". They pre-planned who would stay and who would go. You can believe it.
I laugh when I read these posts about the assessment process. That test was only used as a tie breaker after your last PDS rating and tenure. Bottom line is that you were basically a useless employee if you worried about the potential impact of the “test”. Id--ts
It was 2020. Everyone in claims had to take a personality test. It included puzzles. The puzzles were timed. We never knew our score. We waited a horrible month, during the most scary part of the pandemic. We were terrified of losing our jobs when lots of people weren’t working. Then people were let go at Thanksgiving 2020. Real classy move by Allstate. Truly rotten people to do this to their employees. Then when options for workers improved, those of us who had survived began to leave in droves. Service flattened. Allstate profits floundered. What goes around comes around. Well deserved karma to the executives who will be made to pay!
