When can I expect to get layedoff?
This company is known for layoffs as long as your here your subject to being laid off.
I think Layoffs are going to be this week on Thursday. One-on-Ones are being moved to Thursday
Today might be the day!
Well, it's a new week. I'm seeing a lot of folks with no work and no budgets. Is it layoff week?
Layoffs occur on a Thursday of a non-pay week. Have for years. They do not occur every time.
As to when, strap in, normal course of events here.

This company sucks. Just get your paycheck and perform least as possible by only working 23 hours a day!
I's Thursday, were is the "Blood Bath"
After experiencing this, my advice is definitely to start job hunting. Getting a promotion at Anthem is next to impossible. When I got kicked out, I went to work for another company at a similar job (but not in health insurance) and immediately got $10,000 more a year in salary after years of trying to move up at Anthem. Sc--w that. It was very upsetting at the time, but I now earn about $15,000 more than I got at Anthem. Inflation is taking a bite out of it, but I'm a lot happier where I am now than I ever was at Anthem. Avoid publicly traded companies if you can.
late on this, so you probably know by now - layoffs coming in hot. Given that 4th Thursday is layoff day historically, expect a bloodbath this week.
My advice is if you get caught in a layoff, spend 100% of your time searching for a new job on company time. Completely disregard meetings, and all training requests and stop work entirely. When you find a new job then resign with little to no notice and start your new job. This company doesn't deserve one iota of professionalism.
One can't be bothered with the Ifs. Like politics, I don't let the threat of lay offs influence my life.. Live on ..
