Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why is Sandra Rivera SVP so Nervous?

This interview shouldn't have been that hard. Sandra got ruffled very quickly in the interview when Jon Fortt asked her about moving from head of HR to running Datacenter.

Maybe that set it off. The body language is defensive. When she is asked about layoffs, she looks up into the sky, blinks a lot and is fidgeting in her chair. Is that normal? She seems to give answers that are scripted from a tele prompter. Not comfortable to watch.

🤣 Is that the new way to grade Intel ELT? Whoever causes the least amount of damage?

Renee James was the architect of Intel's $8B Mcaffee acquisition. Even with this pay package Sandra has probably caused less direct damage.

Sandra pay package is huge.
$750k base, $1.2 million bonus (x multiplier)

You work at Intel and you don't even know who you are competing against?

Renee James?? She's not a major player here and not connected to AMD. Perhaps you meant Lisu Su?

Datacenter team is in difficulty. Barely profitable? How can that be? Losing share to AMD. Facing new ARM multi core startup and Renee James. And AI strategy turning into a black ho-e.

AMD doesn't need marketeers like Sandra... they have products.

Maybe Sandra can get a DOT assignment under Lisa Su!

At Intel running a business like DC or HR don’t need different skills, now you know why the place is FUBAR

PR / Investor relations made a huge mistake taking this interview. Not a good look for ELT at all. Stop taking these interviews, tell the press you are focused on execution.

The is the so called cream that rose to the top of Intel in the past 30 years. And you wonder why Intel is in trouble.
