Trendfocus HDD down 34% YoY

Trendfocus is expecting calendar 2022 unit ships to be down 34 percent over 2021 across the industry.

They expect units could rise in Q2 2023 and cites STX specifically needing to improve production quality... Lagging way behind competition

SSD continue to have price erosion and 2tb SSD ( retail) is only selling less than 100 rmb or$14, in China Taobao.. and Huawei, Hikvison,Dahua etc under USA entity list, ( Seagate not able to sell to them) Seagate continue face selling pressure and thus volume pickup is not within sight until Aug 2024.
