Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

Real Technology leadership gone

Pearson just let go of top SRE talent and leadership. The people who have innovated, digitally transformed products and managed the Cloud migrations. Unfortunately they didn’t let go of the real problem, all leadership under CIO.

Haven’t seen a really innovation come from business lines in Product in years. Too many eggs in Pearson+ basket.

Good luck to those that got out!

Loling hard at the Aref comment. He’s running Wiley into the ground as we speak, why do these companies keep hiring someone who is clueless?

It was hilarious yesterday when someone asked how we limit messaging of P+ to only certain people outside of IA deals. Talk about being customer-focused! And the stuttering and stammering that followed was awesome. Wow.
