Moore's law isn't dead but it is exponentially more expensive to keep it going... So, Intel is in a very difficult position. You cannot choose to sustain an internal vertically integrated model as product margins go to zero. And at the same time, trying to beat TSMC is folly with extreme hubris. How can Intel bloated 'copy exactly' manufacturing process compete against the lean, ecosystem rich model of TSMC.?
