Your "friend at SEC" is asking you for advice from a disgruntled employee site? Really? I call BS.

Is a dividend stock technically a Ponzi scheme? Asking for a friend at the SEC.

"IBM is now just a logo. Period. " Nope. It's a dividend stock. That's the root of Arvind's machinations. Maintain the dividend.

Agreed about the stock price. Working conditions/layoffs are inversely correlated with the stock price. Leadership’s main income is tied to the stock price. The hiring freeze and salary freeze is for non-executives as confirmed by the constant barrage of emails congratulating the latest incompetent suit on their new meaningless title.

IBM was taken over by the board and shareholders a long time ago. The dividend is the equivalent of keeping holders at bay in a Ponzi scheme so they don’t pull out.

IBM is now just a logo. Period.

IBM keeps on discriminating and getting rid off older employees one way or the day. It is a sad situation.

Check the stock prices. There is a reason all the others are laying people off.
