Intel states that all manufacturing jobs are safe. The 20% for sales and marketing are the only layoffs happing.

MSO and TD used to be TMG, it was separated a few years back. I know MSO is safe (for now). It was stated that attrition (mainly ppl leaving for Samsung and TSMC) and those retirement is getting the numbers they want. If you suck, then maybe it'll be a good time for Intel to kick your a$$ to the curb. So, if you don't suck- don't worry!

No idea what would happen in future. Mso is manufacturing supply chain operations. I heard they are getting volunteery CPM first.
What is MSO are they associated or going to be associated with TD in the future? Are they planning to merge in Q1? I keep hearing little bits about this. Could just be office gossip.
What about MSO? Layoff is not done yet?
