GSEM has announced 20% headcount reduction. The best part is that after hiring 400 people in just last quarter, they are planning to layoff 400 people by this year based on critical skill matrix (CSM). Thank God the CSM is not applicable to VP, corporate VP etc., or else the insanely incompetent leadership would have scored 5 out of 100 max. But that's not the point of discussion. We all know how corporate politics work. There is no surprise there.
However, the critical part is that how it's happening. Instead of being laid of once, you are being laid off every day, every moment. Say, today the corporate VP emails saying that we were doing great but we have to open cpm , next day again another mail saying, they have opened, after then the day after another email saying a teams meeting scheduled. Next day, a mail saying Teams meeting cancelled, it will be a town hall meet. After that the VP mails sending an invite about updates, updates and updates and so on. Every moment you are being reminded that you are on the line for execution. Anyway we all got the point.
It's so incruciating. You are being fired every breath, every second. The ELT has totally failed in providing any vision, any growth or to be able to stand up to their competitors. However, they got A+ in modus operandi in firing employees the best way to break them and their morale with criminal precision.
No wonder here too!
