Might be time to start recording those calls on our own, if the Teams recorder function is "not working". "Out with the Old"

Another 60+ gone after 15. Can you imagine how exhausted those crack HR people are!! Im sure Tone the bone is gonna see that those stellar workers will get a fat bonus check, right?? Then again, workers who never took one unearned day off during the pandemic, carried the load while brothers and sisters recovered from covid, were never even acknowledged. Thank you Windstain, you did me a great favor.

If you believe you have been discriminated against by an employer, labor union or employment agency when applying for a job or while on the job because of your race, color, religion, s-x (including pregnancy, gender identity, and se-ual orientation), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information, or believe that you have been discriminated against because of opposing a prohibited practice or participating in an equal employment opportunity matter, you may file a charge of discrimination with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). All laws enforced by EEOC, (Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (Title VII), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), except the Equal Pay Act (EPA), require filing a charge with EEOC before a private lawsuit may be filed in court.
To protect your legal rights, it is always best to contact EEOC promptly when discrimination is suspected. There are strict time limits within which charges must be filed. Please review the information about filing deadlines for your particular state by selecting "timeliness" from the menu on the left.

So everyone that's been laid off, spread out the net, and find others that have been laid off over the age of 40. If there are enough postings here we can start a private Facebook group or something and start to communicate. We only have a few short days before we need to sign off on severance pay agreements.

Get a lawyer. Subpoena all layoff records the past three years. Class action and hang TT & MM out to dry. Maybe get some news coverage, or start trolling TT on social media.

TT: "We partnered with VMware..."

Yeah, we also partnered with various state unemployment agencies as we cut 300 workers.

Late 50s, always top performer… out, as well. Looks to be the common denominator here.

Another one here, late 50's, 25 years in the industry, perfect review numbers for six years straight. They probably culled younger folks with less important roles as well to make it look like an equal balance.

58 year old with 20 years at Windstream and was let go last Thursday. 35 years in the industry and this is my first time losing a job. I’m hurting right now but leaning on God to see me through. I’m sorry to all of those that have lost their job.

Also long time employee and top performer with evolutions either 4 or 5 (top scores) for several years. I could not control getting old unfortunately so also a victim of ageism. Make some noise - I am and will

29 years, top performer in the nationwide group, it's all about age and how much you make... ageism at it's finest

All while she and about 20 more are in Nashville on Win's dime. No telling how much cash was dropped on this trip. Some of her direct reports need to go too.

Has nothing to do with age or performance - Has EVERYTHING to do with $MONEY$.

@1fzw+1jKFEWYk Has nothing to do with age. We had several young folks in our group get the bullet yesterday. It probably has something to do with PERFORMANCE!

EEOC should be looking into the numbers and age groups let go, seems very biased on older folks being targeted. Expect some blowback considering the amount of monies Windstream is getting from governments to expend broadband in rural area - biased layoffs wont fly well

This isn’t the last one. There is at least one more round before eoy. They are doing small numbers to stay clear of the news.

Hope the massive cost of upgrading to salesforce paid off. Btw - have you seen salesforce stock? They are tanking hard.

Recession is looming and now we are scratching bone looking for fat to trim. how do they keep missing EO? Worst svp for care… aka another EarthLink failure continuing on at WS.
