In every way, they try to motivate as many employees as possible to leave on their own so that the company can save money on severance pay. In a very obvious way, they intentionally create a chaotic work environment for people here. It's not that it doesn't happen in other companies, but what's happening here is a bit low even by Allstate's standards.

Not happy until you are 6 feet under. Forgot they took away retiree life benefits.
I agree wholeheartedly. Leadership tiptoes around harrassment. Long time employees are targeted. There's no puzzle or questionnaire this time. If you make it through the increased stress without having a nervous breakdown or heart attack, I guess you get severance. Karma...its real. The ones doing the dirt will one day have the dirt kicked on them.

I dont think that's a plan. Thst would require leadership to actually make a decision and enact on it.
If they did try this, it would likely have the opposite result as intended.
