Hi fellow Amazonian. I don't know your situation or what team you're on but here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Layoffs are focused on areas of high investment and low profitability. Unless your work falls into that category, you likely won't be affected.
- The layoffs are well-publicized, and even if you're cut, you'll still have your resume, making it that much easier to land on your feet.
- Hiring managers understand that layoffs happen and often have nothing to do with performance. - - It shouldn't affect your future employability.
Take a deep breath. Everything will likely be okay in the end. You've got this.
