Benefits if you're walked out?

Strongly suspect that if I were to put in my two weeks notice that I'd be immediately walked out the door. Anyone know if that would impact benefits (i.e. health insurance) for the remaining two weeks? I'd assume they'd still be good and not shut down the day I get walked out, but hoping someone with experience can confirm. Thanks

Your benefits are suspended the moment you walk through the door and out of the building...... unless you have something in writing that states otherwise.

It all depends on whether they think it is a disgruntle quitting or just having better options. HR and your direct report work together to evaluate whether the handover is worth the risk. If they walk you out, you will still get paid the 2 weeks (otherwise, they are the one firing you....and you will be entitled to severance)
