To be honest with you, I'm fully expecting to be laid off -I'm a brand new FSE1 and already have a reputation as "being slow on the uptake". Sigh
Dell does it’s major layoffs in January, after announcing all the management re-orgs towards the end of the calendar year. It’s the last month of the last quarter of the fiscal year.

The worst time to get layed off is now to New Year from a tax point of view ,maybe Dell will wait until new year for any further lay offs.
