There was a massive layoff -- over half of those working at the in-house creative agency -- last November, and it wasn't reported in the news or announced internally. Those laid off were forbidden to talk about it without risking severance. Many of those didn't even know who else was affected. This was after rumors of other departments getting the ax at various points during 2022. It's all very surreal how they do it. Good severance package though, and now a higher salary at the new job.
