It looks like Oracle either bought Cerner just a little too late, or maybe just in time. Seeing all of the negative articles on the Cerner software at the VA shows their team wasn’t doing great work. Sure much of the software was on google cloud and AWS but now that oracle owns them, oracles got some bad press.

VA has pushed EHR implementations off to June 2023 after finding more deficiencies with the Oracle Cerner system, including issues with patient scheduling and referrals.
