Sure management is being all nice and giving you 9 weeks to apply to jobs that aren’t posted…. But how do we prepare in advance we are locked out of our computers like Fb and Twitter folks ?

This mentality always baffles me. Intel interviews you very hard and then you feel you earned your job. When layoffs start you think the only place you could ever work, the only place that would ever hire you is intel (or wherever) so you hope they keep you. Don’t be so desperate, you got a job before you can do it again. Stop settling for table scraps!
