Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

State Farm CEO BONUS

So we’re down in the the mud struggling while the CEO got a $22.4mil bonus on top of his 2.1mil salary. So we only need to save money so that he can buy a summer home.

The thesis of a mutual company has always been take profits and reduce premiums…..2 billion net last year and his 20 million bonus doesnt add up…so glad I left years ago

the point isnt bashing the guy for making money, the point is, why are the rest of us sacraficing customer service, our own health, ect, to save every penny possible for the company, even nixing cups and reducing select a gift costs....when we turn around and dish out 22mil to the guy at the top.

We are not even getting inflation adjustment, so the workers are also shouldering the burden of inflation for our customers, on top of financial gains for our leaders.

Its disgusting.

Stop blowing money on stadiums, superbowl ads, and pocket money for the very top until you can fix staffing issues, stop mandatory overtime and reassignments, and adjust your overworked and over stressed workers for inflation, which has wrecked every hub employees discretionary cash.

Interesting! If that S O B is underpaid, what do you think the worker is?

Interesting legacy. Making 100 over past 3 years at the same time we set records for losses.

He is drastically underpaid compared to other Fortune 500 CEOs. We should double his bonus. Head of the NFL makes 5-6 times more than tippy.

Nothing but jealousy on this topic. Aaron Rogers is making 60 million this year to win 3 games…..

  1. Unless we join the Board, that’s out of our control.
  2. Yeah-the numbers are ridiculous but are in line with Corporate America.

Oh come on, let's not stop with bashing the millionaires!

The average human on this planet lives on $10/day!

How many of you are lining up to get flogged by the rest of the world because......wait for it.....

YOU ARE CONSIDERED RICH BY THE REST IF THE WORLD!

But no, let's just bash the people who are richer than us.

Not an employee, but it does make me question where I get my 'Coverage' in the future.
Strong feeling this big bundle came out of denying or underestimating claims.
Out of both the customer and employee pockets.

Sad state for a company of long good-standing.
