Mid Year Review FY 23

With Mid year review coming up for FY23, shall I even bother requesting my manager to have it? As regardless of my performance will be getting a big fat zero at the end of FY23.

"Your mid year review is to self reflect and ask yourself why you are still here? Why?"
Mate, that question is not for mid year review. That is for mid-morning review, every single day.

Your mid year review is to self reflect and ask yourself why you are still here? Why?

Knowing that You will get no raise, no bonus, no nothing.

So back to the original question. Why stay?

If you think you might get something out of it, then do it.

You won't get more money, and you won't get a bonus.

BUT, you might be able to get some training and development opportunities (might, maybe).

If you can get training and development, especially if it gets you some certifications, this boosts your CV and helps you get a better job somewhere else - so that's worth doing!

I told my CTM it was pointless and she didn't disagree! Still we had a chat to tick the box and didn't even bother discussing my goals. They are only doing their job and are just as frustrated as anybody.

I had my session. It's pure gaslighting. I'm starting to feel management are rubbishing people so they don't leave.

Just say no, your manager will understand. Only execs and HR believe there is any point to them, no one else does

Don't do it. Just ignore the reminders, both the automated variety and the ones from your "manager". What can be possibly worse than what it is right now?
A large scale non compliance will present a significant problem to the powers-that-be.
Anyone who is in critical client delivery cannot be touched just because of refusing to do this.
Give it a go.

Without the chance of compensation increase what's the point of a review? Ask that to your manager during your review.

There is no point in doing anything other than the bare minimum if you want to stay at DXC.

My advice is to leave ASAP and work somewhere that your dedication is appreciated.

I heard of someone who told the pixie dust and unicorns HR bimbo that the mid year review is meaningless. I agree.
