Ford has made the biggest profits over the last few years, yet have proven to its loyal, hard-working employees that is was NOT ENOUGH. It will NEVER be enough for them. Don't you see that? Do you suffer from memory loss? Don't you remember how they tried to sc--w you over for the AICP? WAKE THE F*&^ up! You will NEVER be enough for Ford! There will ALWAYS be a reason for them to downsize! Do you really believe this is going to be a ONE and DONE?!!!! Keep dreaming!

I laugh at the KOOL AID drinkers who make comments about old workers need to go. Why? So, we are led to believe that our top management know what they are doing?
Let's start with BF & JF. They are old. and do not have anything could hang their hat on. Farley track record so far is ZERO. BF he was pretty much fired by his own family back in 2006. So why are they still here? That train station $3/4 bn dollars and BF is still there? If your name was not Ford, you be gone. JF. How long were you in charge of marketing? Well look at our buildable combinations and complexity grew under you in charge.
As for the Bronco/ maverick those programs were already underway before even the furniture guy was in place, so JF you do not get credit for throwing paint on plain Sheetmetal. Sorry.
So, anything after the fall of 2020 from concept to production will be your legacy.
Second you cannot be trusted. You mislead the NA workforce by lying to them telling we have too many people in NA to only building and staffing headcount in Mexico & Brazil.
For those that are left in NA you are looking at 12-24 months before you are tapped.

Ford wants the employees that they think they can get the greatest profit margin on at any given time. Problem is that they're schizophrentic about this and sometimes thinking that low performers can be vastly underpaid in the market of the time, and at others that high performers will be a better value due to quality work. Short of it is the family wants the biggest bang for their preferred class stock owning buck and will have the BoD & C-Level staff follow whatever policy they think will achieve that at any given moment.

"The Ford family wants good employees to stay and bad ones to leave"

You're joking right?? Ford HR and management protect the low performers. Heck, they even protect the employees who steal from the company. I've see it every single day when it comes to abuse if vehicle m plate privileges. And no one is allowed to bring it up. Management and HR either shuts you down or retaliate against you.

No. Employees are simply tools to make the Ford family rich. The Ford family wants good employees to stay and bad ones to leave, so thus, only poor performers are being offered VSSP.

Tru-dat! "Good and Loyal" is subjective. One person's top performing, hard working expert is another person's time wasting, bu-t kissing, overpaid du----s.

Many feel they are good and loyal, while barely doing any work their entire career
But hey they drive a Ford, where Ford polo shirts and demean, harass and bully hard working coworkers because they happen to drive 10 year old Toyotas/Hondas.

Heck one of these “good and loyal” employees was just advised he will be promoted to LL6 as our LL6 is retiring (taking VSSP). The LL6 has had 28 years of being “good and loyal”. It was common knowledge that the LL6 was useless and lazy, his replacement is a clone of him. So yep all the hard workers are planning to jump ship. Ford culture sux ba--s.

Hang tough! Ford is just clearing its books to start all these new spinoffs. Once old practices are gone (pensions), they are ready. If u have a pension, update your resume and start looking.
