Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Just put in my 2 weeks from CCC Licensed, a weight off my shoulders.

I started in late 2020, I'm a Gen Zer and got onboarded into P&C from nothing, got all 50 Personal Lines licenses and some Life (lol rip I couldn't use by the time I got them) during my 2 years there. It was one of the first jobs I could call a "real job", before that I was hopping from warehouse work into eventually doing phones sales before Allstate. I left as I came to gripes about downsizing happening soon.

As time went on, CCC Licensed was getting handed more and more trash duties to do without accomodations and pay increases. From doing binds of people that were terminated in 120 days, to doing binds for people that had at least one policy with us, it got to the point in mid 2022 where 50% of my work was quote and binding, without the commission. Some processes are downright broken, the disconnect from sales proper or the agencies are deafeningly frustrating. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE DUMPSTER FIRE THAT IS ADVISOR PRO. This software was 100% developed and outsourced from India... Advisor Pro halts an stupid amount of new business, from missing confirmation boxes, to forcing you to enter miles into an nonexistent mileage box... to downright cosmetic incompetency like how vehicle lists start from "Vehicle 0"

Advisor Pro was a major pain point of my work and slows down so much business, during the past 7 months this pure trash was forced on the CCC, you'd think a lot of bugs would be fixed right? Well....? The only thing that changed was the labelling of dialogue boxes during that time... It's like we have no programmers employed.

I went from a happy top performer to being worn out in 2022, Allstate legitimately deserves a merciful Chapter 11 at this rate.
Anyone from the CCC that can speak their experience about their time here? Especially Advisor Pro, Alliance wasn't perfect but it worked and it's legitmately 3x faster than AP.

If you want to leave, just go. No need to make a big production about it. No need for quitters on the A Team.

LOL that's funny actually, AP doesn't have the option to add water backup iirc, for some reason it was gone from that, and dwelling policies being stripped down depends on if the rep wants the customer off the phone as quick as possible by giving them the absolute lowest premium and coverage

Does the CCC strip down home policies also? Do they offer building codes, replacement cost, sewer water back up?

My teammates and I have a complaint about pro everyday, there is always always something wrong with pro, when you reach out to pmt for understanding on processes, they give unhelpful answers or refer you back to your tl who doesn’t know any different. I feel ya on everything you said. Pro is dumpster fire trash

it's amazing the advisor pro is slow as 1986 windows dial up but if you go to allstate .com to buy a quote u can be done in 4 minutes. im not exagerating here. the online quote system pulls vin, lic, date of birth, vin numbers. advisor pro - you will wait 45 seconds after you choose your product for the screen to move.

Hello Wolf!!! The tendency of the Contact Center to write state minimums is because well... people don't care lmfao. Since no commission is earned for the CCC, reps have nigh no incentive to write higher premiums, even when it's really terrible to do so, as far as the CCC rep is concerned, they want the person off the phone as fast as possible, even if it takes writing someone that lives in Boca Raton or Tampa, FL with a 2022 Subaru Impreza a pathetic 10/20. Cheers!

Hello....The Wolf checking in here! On behalf of all the ex-agents, we truly appreciate your honesty that you have shared with us. I hope you are moving to a career where you can put the customer first. As for advisor pro, us ex-agents love it. We can do 3 quotes in the time it takes to do one quote in advisor pro. Allstate incompetence is making the Wolf a great deal of money. I have programmed my comparative rater to assume the prospect is coming from Allstate. This has reduced my quote times. Having programmers from people that have never sold a policy in their life is helping ex-agents write the Allstate "Robinson" policies (2 cars and house) clients. Please do not complain too much about Advisor Pro. As an ex-agent, I would hate to see Advisor Pro fixed.

Please tell us more of some of the crazy things that are going on at the CCC. Most importantly the preponderance of state minimum policies that are being sold by the CCC.
