The hr person has verified it, no sliding scale for the 9 mos. If you have 8 years in, you get the full 9 months.

After letting go a lot of people in my area with no new hires in several years, there really aren't any "low performers" left. However, I've noticed increased meetings with upper managers so it looks like they are trying to figure out which ones are going next.

BS on low performers. That is just legal cover. People leaders will game the system just as they always have done. If anyone wants to make easy money just place a bet on whether the real non-performers in your area will get the VSSP offer. Everyone knows they will continue to be protected along with all the useless and incompetent managers.

It is hilarious how all the posters on the board are humble bragging about how they didn’t get the VSSP because they of course don’t sux. LMAO

Details are available online. The company always has a VSSP policy (or whatever the separation of the month is called) in place even if no layoffs are immenient. The key is to look at the last updated date to see if anything is planned/to be announced soon.

really wonder how "declining performance" will be determined........ or will this be another people leaders playing favorites etc.

for example, does a TA followed by a High Achiever mean "declining"?

@ylv+1j4HnqMX: The maximum severance was listed as 9 months. Employees with 8 years or more can either take the VSSP or go on a performance enhancement plan. My assumption is that the MAXIMUM severance is 9 months, not everyone with 8+ years.

Let’s be clear
The email is addressed to All US People Leaders only
However it clearly says that the VSSP is meant for employees who demonstrate a pattern of declining performance.

This one differs from the straight vssp, even though it's called the same thing. Somehow better money for less years of service. Makes no sense.

I'm curious how we know the severance details and the stipulation for low performers. Another poster (on a different thread) apparently saw the email and said it was "light on details". Anyone care to share the actual text of the email? Thanks.

Anyone know the terms of the VSSP. Is it 9 months severance with healthcare benefits?

She is too busy writing about Edsel Ford picking on a local church whose opinions he doesn’t agree with.
