Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

I'm an SSB exec and we're considering deconverting. Our transactions fail to process WAY too often and we're given the same canned responses.

You should absolutely deconvert. The ops leadership used your company to prove what happens when the build team could just run with getting things done outside of qa and validation checks prior to go live. The current ‘leadership’ can’t even spell quality.

I am employed at FIB and we too are fed up with Fiserv's mishandling of support cases. The nightly processes fail to run and we are given a canned answer, all the while our phones are ringing off the hook with angry customers.

I don't work in SSB 's core, but know many who do. It's in better shape from a staffing/personnel standpoint than the one I work in. In mine support is a shell of what it once was. Clients are often frustrated as they can't get help, and the remaining people are swamped and constantly under water. We are turning away business in some cases because we don't have the capacity. And any new hires are haphazardly trained due to lack of resources so attrition has grown.

We've lost a ton of great people to other companies, to layoffs, and to poor corporate policy. Any backfilling that is happening is in sites states away making things even more difficult. It's hard to watch honestly.

The cores used to value clients and strive to offer the best support. I’m sure there are many who still try and accomplish that goal. But sadly Fiserv does not make that possible with the deep cuts, not allowing support staff to be hired at the core location, etc. It’s a Fiserv leadership issue. As core clients leave and in turn take all the ancillary products behind, perhaps someone will finally take notice and do something about it. Best of luck to you as a client who deserves better.

We work extremely hard with the skeleton crew we have in an environment of constant RIFS. Sorry to hear.

The SSB deal was a joke. Everyone that agreed on dedicated systems should have been fired. Also the people that forced them to go to Unisys. 1,000+ VM’s for one client. The only people who made money on this deal was the account team.

Thank you for your feedback. I will get on this immediately. I will tell my teams to create more varied excuses for why our software doesn't work. This should solve the repetitiveness you feel when we explain why our software has failed you.

They are on Premier. They are a huge client for us. I hate that they feel this way, but I totally understand it. Fiserv gas gone downhill since FB took over.

SSB is huge. 35 billion in assets alone. We at Foserv are grateful for their business across multiple business units.
