If I were a manager, it would be really hard for me to be constantly monitoring employees and micromanaging every aspect of their work process. But my manager seems to enjoy it. Admittedly, this may be done with the intention to make people leave on their own so that they could employ even cheaper labor. Is there anyone here that hasn't been exposed to terrible micromanagement? I don't think there is.
It would be fairer to give people layoffs than to mentally break them down until they eventually end up leaving the company.

WorkDay makes it easy to monitor employees. Mass surveillance. Enjoy
Pretty sad for those left at the funny farm
Unionization will never happen. It comes up every week or two and has been for decades going back to the 80’s.
Want better treatment start a union and force the company to treat the employees better
I’ve had several ideas that were rejected then implemented.
It’s BS. Let those lazy know it all process analysts figure it out themselves.
See how condescending they are? They do not believe employees are equal. It's time the monkeys go apesh*t!
By design, I remember wanting to leave my 2nd day of claims training. I knew it was a dead end career, with dead end call center vibes, dated tech. It was worth the small couple year sacrifice for resume building, and moving on.
Ultimately it wasn’t the dead end environment that titled me into leaving, it was the idea center MGT begged employees to use so they could take your idea, with no credit, or advancement opportunities and quite frankly own the idea, or product. Terrible company unless you enjoy being taken advantage of.
