Time to unionize all field positions

The people that have been stuck on this one 3% raise every 3 years for close to a decade are the ones that need to rise up. It does not take a high level of math to figure out how beaten down these people feel. Perhaps they should try for a bigger tent than just the field positions
You would go as big or small as you can get. North GA tried it a couple years back but CWA got greedy and wanted the whole state. It will be a long process but can be done. Some areas are already union within the stream so not a co pant wide vote. You will see a bunch of people on here talking about how bad the union is but I bet you a dollar they wouldn’t want to be without it. The things the union has gotten them is more than they realize. Pay, benefits, vacation, overtime pay just to name a few. Sure there are people that take advantage of the union protection but you think that don’t happen without it? Try working in a position for many many years and still not being at top pay. Bet the anti union guy would want his union back.

Save your breath you might need it someday. There’s no loyalty in unions anymore. It’s every man for himself today. Half the group is cut throat and tell the bosses everything trying to make themselves look good and the other half does the bare minimum and get away with it. I’ve been in the union a long time here and the old saying is true. Protect the lazy incompetent worker and if you are a good employee , for your efforts you’ll get more to do and pick up the slack from the deadbeats.
So how would it work? State by state? By region? By a company-wide vote?
Won't happen, I promise you that.
