Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

employee engagement survey

most folks are scared to be honest because they fear its not truly anonymous. imho, who really cares? tell it like it is and let the chips fall where they may. nothing will change anyway. well actually, they will continue to trend to the bad as is the way of Windstream.

After several years of watching Windstream they do use the surveys for one thing. Get rid of the group that is telling the truth. Get rid of the group complaining. Their head is stuck in the sand and they live in an imaginary world.

Most complaints and writing styles are easily figured out - even if they don't truly get those details; it aint difficult.

The problems start at the director level / or higher. A peon complaining about another peon is just noise.

In repair its terrible from SVP down. Fake smiles. Fake numbers. Fake caring.

Waiting for all the rural people to start switching to starlink /etc so this crapshow can really start to tilt toward oblivion. This company should have drowned years ago. Thanks to money games and government - TT and team have a few more years of milking left.

Yeah. It's nice to see things I recommended over 3 years ago coming to fruition. Though I'm certainly not getting credit for it, nor any monetary reward.

I hate to think about the saving we could have enjoyed over that time. But these nimrods just aren't connected with reality.

I'm happy to give my manager and upper management less than stellar marks for their lack of inspiring vision or being worth a squirt of ur--e.

just tell them what they want to hear, so you stay low under the radar. They might force you to take them, but you don't have to tell the truth. Those who have bad surveys will be targeted. Lie and just continue to not care.

I've lost faith in this company, we are forced to do this d-mb training year after year.

Working with integrity, there was a case of a chick sleeping with her boss years ago, and then attempting to bribe him into a promotion, he got fired and she is now a staff manager.

Whats the point of any of this? If you speak your mind they will know who you are, so I do them, but I don't put anything on them that would raise eyebrows.

Want to complain? Guess what, this is your forum.

Someone should grieve the geniuses making everyone take them. It’s optional. HR is in bed with management so not much help there.

Pour your heart out online into a form document because it feels good. We all kon nothing changes in the end. After our last merger we had lots of broken processes between the 2 companies that I had pointed out. Post survey results all of my concerns showed up on the power point but nothing was done to fix the underlying issues.

This is an example of why I don't care. It's not like the board gets to read your comments. If I'm not performing I go on a PIP or out the door. If you are director or above and Eff up on a regular basis nothing happens.

This is why I don't care and neither should you. Who cares if the survey is anonymous or not.
