Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why did you decide on quiet quitting?

I can't even remember what exactly was my breaking point when I decided on quiet quitting, but it's clear that my manager is not thrilled now.

I already left Intel a long time ago, but I did the quiet quitting when the VP level denied my promotion, and then almost put me under a female boss based in Israel with fewer years of experience and no technical background. I milked Intel for my MBA tuition (probably not possible now) and left after I graduated. I knew plenty of people at Intel who milked them for the education reimbursement and then left shortly after they graduated. Intel is a good place to chill, get educated outside in something more useful than Intel-specific knowledge and GTFO for a real tech salary.

Well, you see, you have to do something for that to work...Unless your husband, wife, brother, sister, mother, father...is an Eng or GL. Then you are in the clear! Feel free to continue doing nothing. It helps the Pareto principle function correctly. ;)
