Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Scott Mair is a contractor

Look in webphone. Notice there's no consulting company, just ECAM, the AT&T NPW (non payroll worker) system.

The SEC filings on sheds light on a lot of this cr-p. Schedule 14A shows executive compensation salaries, bonuses, stock awards, deferred compensation, etc. It's insane when you look at all the different monies they are paid, as well as personal benefits. Stephenson's pension alone is $68m. According to the March 2022 filing, Stephens had a $1.5m "consulting" agreement, and Stephenson's was $12.8m. No doubt when the 2023 document is filed with the government, we will find out how much Mair and Whitacre are getting.

Ed Whitacre is busy bulldozing the south 40 on his ranch in Mesquite TX. He is very exited, he is hosting the Whitacre Family Barbeque this year. Everybody that is anybody will be there. All of C-suite and T BOD are invited and have responded with their RSVP's. This is gonna be big, real big! They will have long necks soaking in ice water in cattle troughs scattered around the courtyard. When Ole Ed throws a party, he really throws a party. Big Ed is set for life and then some, don't be jellie!

@2sdr+1j2ic6OI Wow, I would never have searched for him. I guess Randall is notable for not being a contractor. I wonder what they are paying Ed to do.

Randy Tomlin ain't never coming back. Remember, he left on bad terms, it was his choice. I think his arrogance got the best of him.

T is a golden goose for top level. They will use it and abuse it. Retire and come back with even higher compensation. This company is run by mafia.

The Gravy Train never stops! Get surplused and come back as a consultant for more money and less work! These are “no show” jobs.

Well there's also *NON EMPLOYEE * in bright bold red letters across the top of the page.

So, way to go there Inspector Gadget.

Huh, I had no idea he left. Must have missed the memo.

Shocking that such a hot commodity didn't get snatched right up by some rapidly growing company.

The hiring back of these losers, it's how Stankey operates. What are any of them doing for T that a entry level employee couldn't do? Just more gambling by Stankey using house money!

No matter how much your boss wanted you, you couldn't come back as a contractor so quickly. Different rules at the top.

Another exec, Bill Hogg, is also back.
Maybe T is trying to move large salaries from one area of the balance sheet to another: employee vs. contractor

Disappointing that leadership has decided not to share this information. So much for “new perspectives” …. Looks like we’re bringing king time execs back.
