Rumor is going around that the store will close in the next couple weeks. Any one have word on this?

Yes, that's exactly what we need to do. Shoddy journalism should be called out. There are zero currently closing Kmarts, and until any show up on SB360's list, that is the bottom line.
So I’m curious, what are the link police going to do if we continued to post without links? Take us to the Chicago Ridge store and lash us? Or worse yet, make us spend a day with Eddie and the ESL school of business management? This page is completely irrelevant now anyway. Asking for a friend
DO NOT POST THIS WITHOUT LINKS. Honestly do you guys understand English? Links or shut the he-l up. Links or it didn't happen.
Is the 'rumor going around' in your head? do you need an adult?
"Ensuring aisles are set to planogram, stocked and signed to company standards", this is a joke, right!?!? Like there is anyone left to develop "planograms"! And there's no company left to have "standards". Yes, who wants to be part of our company (three stores) "remodel team"? Hahaha!!!!!
I doubt Publix wants to give up their nice building across the street from this Kmart.
A job has been listed for some time for this store. Its description suggests that the store is being reduced in size (perhaps partitioned off so that some of it can be subleased to a new tenant):

"The Temp Remodel Team Associate will assist the Store Team with moving, condensing and resetting the merchandise displays, fixtures and counters into a new layout, ensuring aisles are set to planogram, stocked and signed to company standards."
